Hemp tea, and how to make it?

Hemp tea: here we explain what it is, how to prepare it and enjoy a cup - in 5 easy steps! Hemp tea is made by steeping hemp leaves or cannabis buds in hot water. CBD requires some fat elements - such as Coconut Oil, Milk, Butter or MCT Oil - so that the CBD can bind to it. It's a refreshing health supplement and a great alternative to traditional habitual drugs like caffeine, nicotine and THC, and can be prepared in minutes... read on and we'll show you how!

Teas have been used for thousands of years for medicinal and social purposes, originating in the eastern hemisphere before gaining popularity in the west. Although disputes over the benefits of teas will likely continue until conclusive evidence presents itself, few people would argue that a hot cup of tea isn't an enjoyable experience and a way to bring people together - whether you're on a building site or in the lounge with your feet up.

Hemp Tea

Hemp tea is a unique form of this traditional beverage. Historically, tea has proven to be a great social medium to bring people together - both naturally and healthily. Like other speciality teas - one can add ingredients, such as honey, to enhance their enjoyment of this versatile beverage.

Although some proponents of hemp tea enjoy this beverage for its flavor, others consume it regularly for its reported health benefits. Hemp tea is not to be confused with "cannabis tea" or "weed tea." Be sure to buy LOW THC WEED that doesn't contain psychoactive ingredients, such as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), and therefore doesn't alter the senses of the consumer. The teas brought on Bud CBD are -0.2% THC and don't have any psychoactive effects - ideal for making Hemp tea!

CBD is not water-soluble

CBD alone isn't water soluble, which means it must be mixed with some fat or oil. For this reason, even hemp tea that is brewed with THC-containing ingredients will likely have minimal psychoactive effects, although they are reported among some tea consumers.

The steeping process through which Hemp tea is made involves submerging the tea leaves or other ingredients in hot or cold water for a designated amount of time, allowing the elements to infuse themselves into the beverage. The length of steeping varies depending on the desired density or particular type of tea leaf. Let's make some now in five easy steps.

To make hemp tea:

1. Place a teaspoon of hemp tea in a cup. If you prefer your tea with milk, you can add a little milk to the cup. If you are not adding milk, you should add another type of fat for the CBD to bind to. Half a teaspoon of coconut oil works well, or you can use grease or oil according to your preference.

2. Pour hot water over the contents of your cup.

3. Allow it to infuse for four to five minutes to obtain the desired strength. The tea will turn greenish as it steeps.

4. Now you have to strain and separate the CBD from the tea. Squeeze the tea leaves and remove them from the cup or strain the cup into a clean cup.

5. Hemp tea tastes good as it is, but you can add sugar, honey, or lemon if needed. Your tea is ready - so it's time to sit back and relax!
